Interviewer's description-
"This interview was conducted during a dulcimer workshop given by Jean Ritchie in connection with the 1988 Swappin' Meetin ' at Southeast Community College. She tells about the basic tuning and strumming of the dulcimer and a little about the family heritage that contributed to her musical career. She also talks about how she got started in her present career. She discusses why she sings the traditional music and who will carry on the tradition."
