Interview of Nola Sergent by Cheryl Sergent. Interviewer's description- "Mrs. Sergent was born on Catron's Creek in Harlan County Kentucky in 1934. She states that she led a relatively isolated existence-traveling to Harlan occasionally and to Bible camp for a week in the summer. Most of her childhood was spent in helping rear twelve brothers and sisters. Subjects discussed included: (1) education, (2) sewing, (3) home crafts (soap making, etc.) (4) livestock and gardening, (5) the community of Teetersville, Kentucky (Harlan County) and its' founding family, and (6) the coal camp life (commissary, etc.)."
