"Mrs. Mullins was born May 9, 1909 near Partridge, Kentucky into a family of 12 children. Mrs. Mullins describes her life while growing up on a mountain subsistence farm. Topics included here are: 1) education, 2) quilt making, 3) medical practices, 4) mid-wifes, 5) religion, 6) transportation, 7) domestic activities, 8) moonshining, and 9) the great depression."
