Description 
Interview of Polly Holcomb by Tim Hodge. Interviewer's description- "Mrs. Holcomb was born in Perry County in 1892-one of fourteen children in a family of eight girls and six boys. She describes varying aspects of pioneer life: 1) shoe making 2) soap making 3) gardening 4) music 5) education 6) religion 7) moonshining and 8) furniture making. She married a railroad man and had ten children of her own which she worked very hard to support after her husband died."
