Description 
Interview of Mrs. Cleo Hanes by Brenda Mullins. Interviewer's description- "Mrs. Hanes was born in 1897, the oldest of 15 children, she recalls her childhood and the chores she had to do, the depression and her own 3 children growing up and leaving home. Mrs. Hanes states that she taught her children how to can, quilt and make dolls. She recalls keeping food in a cellar and the organ and singing were their only entertainment. She said her daddy was very strict with them and she talks about getting whippings."
