Abstract Interview of Velma Carver by Rainy Jackson. Carver discusses "how times have changed."

Interviewer's description-
"Mrs. Carver talks about being raised in a two room house with 13 brothers and sisters. She recalls going to a one room school house that was also used for the church on Sundays. She packed her lunch for school which consisted of a biscuit and milk. She met her husband Fred in 1942 and married him five months later. She stated that they were together 52 years and lived in 36 different houses before settling at Holmes Mill, Kentucky in 1966. She had 4 children, with one to die. She became disabled in 1960 after giving birth to her last child. She states that she is happy and that the Lord will take care of her."
