"In this interview Mr. Gilbert speaks of his early childhood-where he grew up, school, his father and moonshine in Harlan County. He tells about his brother who was murdered and he elaborates on superstitions and home remedies. He tells how bootlegging and politics in Harlan has affected him. He also tells about some of the houses he has built in Harlan County."
