Abstract Interview of Denver Nolan by Billy Broughton.

Interviewer's description-
"This interview was conducted with a man that has seen and done many things in his 101 years; born January 3, 1892 at Nolans Branch, Bledsoe, Kentucky. Mr. Nolan talks about seeing this region when it was mostly wilderness and seeing the coal industry being introduced here to change it forever. Mr. Nolan tells of logging timber for T.J. Asher Co. He married Fannie Middleton January 12, 1918. He helped build the road at Black Mountain Tower. Mr. Nolan also sings two songs in this interview; Hobo song and a piece from the Living Waters song book."
