Abstract Interview of Ruth Peters by Linda Longworth.

Interviewer's description-
"Mrs. Peters was born in Laurel County Kentucky in 1927. One of 8 children, she recalls going to school at Turkey Creek in a one room school, with a pot-bellied stove. The room held first thru seventh grade. Mrs. Peters completed the eighth grade and regrets not being able to go further in school. Her household chores included washing clothes on a wash board. She met her husband in Hamilton, Ohio while staying with a sister. Mrs. Peters recalls one son being wounded in Vietnam."
