Abstract Interview of Peddy Reynolds by Carla Allen.

Interviewer's description-
"Mr. Reynolds was born in Alabama in 1916. He went to first grade in a one room Alabama school house. He describes how he came to Harlan County in 1939 to seek work in coal mining. He describes the rental costs of coal company housing, the kind of entertainment, and how the company owned the camp and charged for all utility services. He also tells of the coal strikes."
