Abstract Interview of Robert E. Crider Sr. by Robert E. Crider III. Crider Sr. discusses his life story.

Interviewer's description-
"This interview with Robert Crider, Sr. begins with his childhood. He talks about how at the age of 16 he got his first job at Totz cutting coal inside the mines. He later joined the U.S. Marine Corp, August 7, 1941 at the age of 19. He caught malaria and was sent back to the United States and released with an honorable discharge. He later went back to work in the mines at Totz and later at Dartmont. He talked about the mining strikes. He retired in 1983 from Allen Garcia Welding on an ending salary of $19.95 per hour and $300 every two weeks for expenses."
