Abstract Interview of Lawana Hickey by Pam K. Saylor.

Interviewer's description-
"Lawana Hickey was born in Harlan, Kentucky in 1974 and is 16 years old. She is a student at Cawood High School and plays the clarinet and trumpet in the school band. She also plays the piano, organ, guitar, trombone and harmonica. She discusses how she became interested in music and her dream of becoming a country music performer. Lawana has written five songs in country and gospel style. She is the regular pianist at her church and plans to have a career in music, either as a performer or teacher. The tape includes three brief examples of her playing the piano in three different styles: 'Wipe Out'-rock, 'Crazy'-country and 'I Love To Walk With Jesus'- gospel."
