Abstract Interview of S. Parker Boggs by Deborah L. Bowman. Boggs discusses classical music, music as a career and music as a hobby.

Interviewer's description-
"Stephen Parker Boggs was born in Harlan, Kentucky in 1954. He is presently practicing law in Harlan. He discusses his decision not to make music a career, even though he received a B.A. in music from U.K. with a major in voice. He talks about his musical training and performance experiences, which include playing the piano, violin and tuba, as well as, singing. He compares music as a profession with his own careers in library science and in law. He concludes the interview with a performance of the Adagio Movement of Beethoven's Pathetique Sonata on piano."
