"Donna Whitehead was born in Irvin, Kentucky, but spent her childhood in northern Illinois. She moved back to Kentucky in 1973. She discussed what stimulated her interest in music; how she learned to play the piano and organ; the types of music she prefers and the role or function of music in her life. She includes two musical examples played on the chord organ."
