Abstract Interview of John Tipton McNeil by Michael S. Blanton.

Interviewer's description-
"Tip McNeil is a thirty-one year old pharmacist from Harlan, Kentucky. He is from a very musical family. His mother, Martha; sister, Peggy and brother, Ray, all perform music. Tip was a drummer for a contemporary Christian band from Cumberland College for two years. A normal drum set, which Tip used to perform, would include: one bass drum, one snare drum, six to seven toms, one hi-hat cymbal, three to four other cymbals and brass chimes. At the present time, Tip does not teach other people how to play the drums and had no formal instruction on how to play himself. Tip feels that music is a God given gift that man has and that music, like all other things, can be used for both good and bad purposes."
