Abstract Interview of Cuba Whitaker by Teresa Whitaker.

Interviewer's description-
"Cuba Whitaker was born on Cowan in Letcher County, February 13, 1918. Her parents were Sam and Nanny Caudill. She had seven brothers and one sister. Cuba attended school in Cowan. She describes her life as a child through the work experiences her parents required. She married Jim Whitaker, a sawmill operator and owner, when she was 24 years old. She was the mother of seven children and reared them at a house near Ovenfork, Kentucky. She speaks of her many grandchildren and of the tragic death of her daughter."
