Abstract Interview of Hazel Pursiful by Jeanne Lee.

Interviewer's description-
"Hazel Perkey Pursiful was 78 years old at the time of the interview. She gives an overview of what she has seen in her lifetime, what it was like growing up in a railroad family of 11 children and what changes have occurred through the years. She speaks briefly of WW II and of the depression. She speaks of the flu epidemic that ravaged Appalachia after WW I. She concludes by comparing the life of the railroad family with the life of the coal mining family."
