Interviewer's description-
"This is an interview with Phyllis Metcalf discussing the strike of Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital, that occurred April 1, 1986. Mrs. Metcalf discussed the main issues of the strike and the effects the strike had on the employees and the hospital. She also discussed the politics involved in the strike and how it is affecting the union now. In closing she urged people to support their union and local economy."
