Abstract Interview of Madge Jenkins by Renee Jenkins.

Interviewer's description-
"Madge Jenkins tells of attending Pine Mountain Settlement School from 1941-1943, she tells why she wanted to attend Pine Mountain and some of the requirements that had to be met before she was accepted. She tells of her experiences at Pine Mountain through the Vesper's service, the May Day Dance and her first trip to the A&P in Harlan, to name a few. She talks about the special events at Pine Mountain Settlement School; graduation, holidays and the warm, loving feeling of family that was shared. She discusses the effect the school has had on her life."
