Interviewer's description-
"Roger and Carolyn Elliott are both amateur radio operators who live in Harlan County, Kentucky. They both have won many contests and awards for their radio expertise. Topics discussed here include: 1. the achieving of a amateur radio license; 2. the different levels of license; 3. the equipment necessary to become radio operators; 4. QSL cards; 5. signals; 6. uses of computer with radio; 7. radio contests and awards; and 8. the role of amateur radio in emergencies. This tape is concluded with an actual transmission from the American space shuttle in orbit."
