Abstract Interview of Ethel Shumate by Edna Burkhart.

Interviewer's description-
"In this interview with Ethel Shumate, she describes how she makes a quilt; the materials used, the patterns, tools needed for quilting and tacking quilts. She mentions different quilt patterns that she has made including; the Rose, the Nine Diamond quilt, the Double Wedding Ring, the Star, the String quilt, the Drunkyards Path, the Rail Fence, the Butterfly and the Poodle. She stated that she made up most of her own patterns. She discussed quilting B's and contest and also stated that she teaches quilting. She said most of her quilts she gave to her children, but she had sold some of them to."
