Abstract Interview of Cora L. Campbell by Melanie Zuercher.

Interviewer's description-
"Mrs. Dixon Campbell born in Gander (now called Carcassone) Letcher County, Kentucky. She now resides in Rio Vista, Harlan County, Kentucky. Her family has been in the same area of Letcher County since the Revolutionary War, where a great-great-(great?) grandfather was given a land grant. She talks of memories of school, life during the depression, and education in the mountains. Mrs. Campbell graduated from Berea College, went to Morehead briefly, Eastern Kentucky University and George Peabody in Nashville. She taught school at Pine Mountain Settlement School and works in Title 1 for the Harlan County Schools."
