Abstract Interview of Vika Thomas by Veda Phillips.

Interviewer's description-
"Vika Thomas was born August 6, 1961 on Jones Creek, Kentucky (Harlan County) and moved to Evarts, Kentucky when she was ten years of age. Her father was a coal miner and died as a result of his breathing the dust in the mines. She went to work in the mines to help support her mother and siblings. Topics here include: (1) memories of the her first shift, (2) harassment, (3) safety, (4) various job responsibilities, (5) spousal jealousy, and (6) health considerations."
