"Mrs. Hensley was born November 10, 1914 at Disney, Kentucky. Her father was Bill Jones and her mother was Emily Wynn. Her father was a coal miner at Black Mountain near Kenvir, Kentucky. She describes: (1) schooling, (2) politics, (3) her marriage to John Hensley, (4) logging industry, (5) rural life on Jones Creek, (6) W.W. II, and (7) her daughter's educational pursuits."
