Abstract Interview of William Blevins by Tina Harp. Blevins discusses his background and the Pony & Truck mines.

Interviewer's description-
"Mr. Blevins began working in the coal mines when he was fourteen years of age for approximately $5.00 per day. He is still working, but now makes $112.00 per eight hour shift and works in more modern and better conditions. Topics Mr. Blevins discussed include: (1) old mining practices, (2) safety, (3) ghost stories about mines, (4) mechanized mining, (5) mine inspections, (6) humor & bond between mines, (7) women in mines, (8) benefits and pay."
