"Mrs. Polson was born at Portmouth, England, July 19, 1932. She traces her life in England, her marriage to an American soldier and subsequent trip across the ocean to live in America. Subjects in this interview include: 1) Nazi bombings 2) food practices 3) entertainment 4) rationing 5) war suicides 6) education 7) historic sites 8) transportation and 9) her impression of America and particularly the Appalachian area."
