Abstract Interview of Mary Hudgins by Bonita Taylor.

Interviewer's description-
"Mrs. Hudgins was the granddaughter of a plantation slave in Alabama. She was born July 6, 1910 in Utah, Alabama. She moved to Kentucky in 1935 with her husband who was seeking employment in the coal mines. She describes coal camp life at Benham, Kentucky and speaks of 1) religion 2) subsistence gardening 3) education and 4) family geneology."
