Interviewer's description-
"Mrs. Vanhooser recounts some events in her early childhood in Marion County, Tennessee near Whitwell. She describes her education in a two room school, courting in the 1930's, living through the depression as a high school student and she describes making hominy and kraut, drying apples and hog killing. She also makes brief comments about contemporary politics and morality."
