Abstract Interview of Daisy Shackelford by Fred Ellis.

Interviewer's description-
"Mrs. Shackleford is of Irish descent and has lived most of her life in Harlan County except for a short period she lived in Ontario, Canada. She describes attending a two room school at Gray's Knob and life in a coal camp there. She recalls her mother preparing dinner for Franklin Delano Roosevelt who was in Harlan County to buy timber and railroad right-of-way (this was prior to his becoming president). She mentions her family's involvement in the World Wars and Korea."
