Abstract Interview of Ellen Mason by Joyce Lucas.

Interviewer's description-
"Ellen was born September 23, 1948 in Pineville, Kentucky. During the early years her family moved frequently seeking steady employment. Her real father passed away when she was 10 years old and her mother remarried. Ellen married her first husband when she was 14 years old and soon found herself being sold to drunken friends of her husband. She soon divorced and remarried, but never ceased her hooking habit. She gave birth to two children in this marriage but her husband divorced her when he found out her secret. Ellen reveals that she was raped when she was seven. She talks frankly about her role as a prostitute--characteristics of Johns, pimps, etc. She also discusses the attitude of law enforcement officers. She also speaks of her volunteer E.M.T. work where she works in an ambulance to help save some lives."
