Abstract Interview of Nan Bridges by Judy Layne. Bridges discusses her background and Benham, Lynch, and Cumberland, KY.

Interviewer's description-
"Mrs. Bridges was born in Harriman, Tennessee and lived in Knoxville, Tennessee until her family moved to Benham, Kentucky when she was 14 years old. She graduated from Benham High School in 1924 (Benham's first graduating class) and she mentions the names of the other seven members of the class. She talks about her marriage to Paul Bridges in 1926 and outlines several moves and occupation changes that they encountered until they established American Cleaners in Cumberland, Kentucky. She also talks about Paul's retirement from their business in 1968 due to him being diagnosed with lung cancer. Mr. Bridges passed away in 1976. Mrs. Bridges discusses the rearing of her children and how the children today compare."
