Interviewer's description-
"In this interview with Mattie Collins she discusses the task of raising 17 children while being married to a coal miner. She talks of gardening, how she divided household chores, shopping at a coal company commissary and the use of script, etc. As of November 18, 1980 Mrs. Collins has 66 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren."
