Abstract Interview of Radah Day by Charlotte Smith.

Interviewer's description-
"Mrs. Day was born in Lee County, Virginia and was raised by her grandmother. She talks about coming to Kentucky in 1909 on horseback over Stone Mountain (a two day trip). She talks about marrying Mr. Creech when she was 16 years old, they separated and she remarried Mr. Day. She talks about her life in Cumberland and raising her 8 boys (one of them dying at age 22 in the Belgium Bulge December 24, 1944). She talks about how people used to help each other. She also talks about canning and preserving food, quilting and molasses stir-offs, gardening and raising bees."
