Abstract Interview of Bessie Halcomb by Ronald Collier.

Interviewer's description-
"Mrs. Halcomb was born October 20, 1900 in Wise County, Virginia to Elizabeth (Clark) Allen and Tillman Lonnie Allen. She recalls the names of a number of blood relatives (brothers, sisters, etc.). Mrs. Halcomb tells an anecdote about when her grandfather died during the Civil War. She also recalls some childhood past-times and entertainment. She married John Riley Halcomb in 1914 at Benham, Kentucky. Topics included in this interview are her education, religion, Greene Morris Lumber Mills and grocery, Morris and Clark genealogy."
