Abstract |
Interview of Hazel Ball by Sandra Ball. Hazel Ball discusses her background and women's roles.
Interviewer's description- "Mrs. Ball speaks of her childhood and the different roles young girls and boys were required to play. She responds to several questions regarding comparisons of those roles with those of today. Her descriptions of women's roles included domestic responsibilities, ie., ironing, washing, making clothes, working in the garden, milking the cow, etc. (boys had responsibility for plowing, livestock, hunting, fishing, etc.)" |
