Abstract Interview of Pat Bates by Denise Combs. Bates discusses home remedies for medical ailments.

Interviewer's description-
"Pat Bates gives a mixture of home remedies and superstition practices for curing diseases. A lot of good information is given on the different kinds of roots, herbs, etc. that you can use to make medicines and salves such as yellow root and burr-vine weed. She tells of such practices as using urine to cure and earache and rubbing pennies on warts to get rid of them."
